All travelers in Peru will surely spend time in Cusco, the captivating ancient capital of the Inca empire. A destination in itself due to its historical importance in South America, the architecture of the colonial era and that natural Peruvian street spirit, the designation of Cusco as the gateway to the beautiful Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu simply further underlines its popularity durable 🙌
We leave you a small list of activities to do in this magical city that you can not miss 👀
🔸Visit the stone of the 12 angles: nobody knows until today how they cut those and arranged these stones. The Incas joined these rocks so perfectly in complex geometric patterns to the extent that a piece of paper cannot slip between them. That's why the 12 angle stone is special

🔸Visit some of the emblematic museums of Cusco like the Museum of Pre-Columbian Art or the Center of Traditional Textiles of Cusco.

In the middle of a natural landscape that allows you to enjoy the Chinchero plateau, Pj'acchayoc canyon, the sacred valley of the Incas, snowy Chicon and Pitusirayasi as well as live culture of the Racchi community. They must ensure that the company where they take the tour have all the corresponding permits to provide this service.
UngeBungee Jumping: Bungee Jumping from Poroy - Cusco, is undoubtedly a unique and unforgettable experience, made from a suspended platform over 125 meters high, which qualifies us as the highest Bungee in Latin America, this activity is carried out in our park that is located 15 minutes from the city of Cusco.
🔸 Four-wheelers in Valle: Live the adventure and adrenaline to the fullest by touring the Sacred Valley
🔸Painting and Picnic in Maras: A tour that we highly recommend. Relax with a picnic and delicious wine followed by a painting class where you will let your art flow. This tour is unique and exclusive to @CarnavalPait
🔸Visit Cristo Blanco: Right next to Sacsayhuamán (maybe a 10-minute walk) you will find a giant statue of Jesus Christ, called Cristo Blanco. I am not sure why they built the ugly fence around them, but the 8-meter-high statue is certainly a spectacle from which you cannot escape.
🔸Maras: Another true true impressive destination in the Cusco area is the salt evaporation ponds of Maras. Actually, they are a little further and perhaps better explored since a stay in Urubamba or Ollantaytambo. Still, if you don't plan on changing the rooms, Maras (and near Moray) are quite feasible on a day trip, believe me, you won't regret it.
