The Cusco 7-Day Package is the most complete single-destination circuit in the Cusco region: a full week covering every major experience — the city’s Inca and colonial history, the agricultural science of Moray and the salt production of Maras, the complete Sacred Valley with Pisac and Ollantaytambo, the wonder of Machu Picchu by tourist train, and the mineral-striped summit of Rainbow Mountain at 5,200 m. How do I book this 7-day Cusco package?
Contact Travel Peru Tours by WhatsApp or the booking form. We confirm date availability and Machu Picchu ticket availability before reserving. A 30% deposit confirms the reservation. Final payment 30 days before departure. Minimum advance notice: 30 days. For June–August travel, book 60–90 days ahead — Machu Picchu fills completely.
Can I customize the itinerary order?
Yes. The default order is optimized for acclimatization (see altitude ladder above). Alternative orders are possible depending on availability — for example, swapping Days 2 and 3. Moving Rainbow Mountain to an earlier day is possible but we will advise on the reduced acclimatization margin. Confirm preferred order at booking.
What is the Rainbow Mountain entrance fee?
The Vinicunca entrance fee (~S/. 20 PEN, paid to the Pitumarca community) is included in this package. Many competing packages list it as extra.
Can I add Humantay Lake to this package?
Yes. Humantay Lake can be added as an extra day (Day 2 or Day 3), converting the package to 8 days / 7 nights. Adding Humantay (4,250 m) before Rainbow Mountain (5,200 m) further improves acclimatization on Day 7. Ask about the 8-day extension when booking.
What happens if Rainbow Mountain is closed due to weather?
In the event heavy snow or extreme weather closes the Vinicunca trail on Day 6, we offer: (1) reschedule for the following day if your flight allows, or (2) replacement with an alternative of similar value — Humantay Lake, Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain (4,900 m, similar colors, shorter approach), or a Sacred Valley extension. Weather cancellations are fully refunded or rescheduled at no extra cost.
Is the accommodation in Cusco or Aguas Calientes on Day 4?
The package includes 6 nights accommodation in Cusco's historic center. Day 4 ends with the train to Aguas Calientes — the overnight in Aguas Calientes is separate from the 6 Cusco nights and is included in the package. The guide arranges check-in and briefing for the Machu Picchu visit the following morning.
Is there a student discount?
Yes. University students (valid international university ID) and schoolchildren aged 8–16 (passport required) each receive a $20 USD discount. Children under 5 are free. Inform us of your group composition when booking.
